My Deacon's bug list
As the title says, I ran into a few bugs in my playtrough while Deacon accompanies me. First of all they have to do with him and his inventory as well as his appearance. First of all, we all know that when you equip a companion with a set of clothes this "disappears" from his inventory to prevent the player from making them run naked, well, in my case with Deacon, he makes TWO clothes disappear from his inventory and he rarely equips himself with the one I order him to, it's quite annoying. Another bug is that depending on the type of clothing or randomly, Deacon's body varies between thick and thin, where his neck, head and hands slightly detach from his body because they do not have the same configuration and in some cases, even his hands disappear completely.
None of these bugs prevent me from playing regularly and it's not like I can't get back the clothes that their inventory swallows up but they're annoying anyway and I'm looking for a solution.

Mods?

Looks to me like you are using modded clothing that has the wrong body attached to it and possibly the same file name as the default clothes on Deacons list. If you are using a custom body and you batch built the clothing to that, then those clothes arent going to fit other npc. Other wise if you have not used the same customised body that the modded clothes are made for, it changes the npc body to the one attached to the clothing. You most likely need to use the Outfit Studio and Bodyslide to batch build the clothes to fit your characters body.

I think this happens exclusively with that character. The character has by default the ability to change clothes to have different appearances (He is a kind of spy, isn't he?). Maybe some of that random code causes this to happen even with the gear you put on demand ... Just a thought ...
