And again no matter what I do I cant seem to get console commands to work on this particular quest, it refuses to have any stage set on it
I JUST said I have finished reunions thinking that was it but no. And again even console commands dont work to set it any stage, only force it to finish with the completequest command, but it only gives exp, doesnt show the animation or the follow up quest trigger, and continues to not show in the finished quests tab when doing it like that.
IF a quest has been completed it usually will not execute any more stages even with the setstage command.
sqs bos202
sqv bos202
Will show the stages and variables for the quest as well as if it is running.
If the previous quest never actually completed it may require running the setstage command on its shutdown and start the next quest stage.
The previous quest, Tour of Duty ends just fine and shows completed with all stages completed on the quest journal, but nothing happends after that and even spoke to the ship captain but still nothing, Maxson is still in the same spot instead of outside where he should be for this quest and always dismissive responce.
What does SQV do? I havent attempted that command
Using sqs says its stopped and its perpetually at stage 0, using setstage to any other stage like 10-20-30-100-110-250 dont work and dont start it (but it does work and start at the step I input for example From Within quest.)
Startquest I believe works for other quests but it doesnt work for this one, either using its editor or form ID it refuses to start it.
Many times when a quest failed to start it was because one of the required aliases failed to get the npc placed in it.
SQV when it comes to quest state says its NOT enabled, state is stopped, current stage 0 and priority 70.
Any way to enable it using commands? Or anything else I should keep an eye out for in what this command tells me? Its quite a long list of ref's and scripts but I dont know much on that
This is with Tour of Duty completed and Dangerous Minds in its first step, only brotherhood sidequests are the radiants of getting technical documents and blood samples.
IF possible you can try these commands
Startquest bos202
setstage bos202 0
This should trigger its startup.
Already tried those and even with one after the other, still doesnt start it
0 Quest Debug StartUp Stage
1 Quest Debug Interior
2 Quest Debug Flight
5 Startup
10 [LOG] Meet Maxson on Flight Deck
20 [LOG] Board the Gunship
255 [LOG] Quest Done
300 Quest Stop
If the quest thinks it was completed or one of the other faction quests that bypass this one is done it propbably will not be able to be started.
Quest doesnt show completed done in my questlist so that aint it, and other than DLC content and minutemen questline I havent done anything else that could get to it maybe. Wiki only mentions it gets locked out if I have completed institutionalized but I still havent met Father nor have I made contact with the Railroad
Setstage bos202 300
Should set up the variables as if it was completed though you may need the command resetquest followed by startquest though this may clear any variables other quests set on this one.
