Noob - Looksmenu / character creation help / loadorder
What I wrote is irrelevant now.

I tried to use Looksmenu but presets never showed up.
I thought it was a fomod issue, to an extent it was.
If you're getting an error in your mod organizer like "content of <data> does not look valid" you'll have to install it manually unless the mod specifically says it has a fomod installer.

If your fomod installer doesn't work, refer to the mod organizer discord.

The preset was the issue, I was missing a folder. I downloaded Tea's preset and now am using it for all my presets.
I'm also re-installing my character mods as I messed up the installation for some of them.
So if you're using mod organizer, and you don't have a preset folder, you can create it.
It looks like this:

E:\MO2\mods\Tea's Preset\F4SE\Plugins\F4EE\Presets

Pretty sure you can copy it.
If that doesn't work for you, try making it in your game directory that looks like this:

Fallout 4\Data\F4SE\Plugins\F4EE\Presets

Presets now show up in LooksMenu.

I haven't deep dived into your mod list, but iirc LooksMenu has hair mod prerequisites. Since you're having issues with hair, I'd say this is most likely the culprit-- you're missing a dependecy?

I went through the required mod prerequisites twice, I'll check again but I'm sure I've installed them all. It's not much of an issue with hair, I think I can install some other hair mod. But the faces still look "vanilla" and don't have much freedom to customize the face as much as other people that use said mods.

I ordered my modlist in the way I installed the actual mods. I really appreciate a fresh set of eyes looking at this

Do you mean you just installed the mods and let them auto-sort using LOOT? Or you ordered the list you provided to be same as your load order? If its the former, then that is most likely your problem. I stopped using LooksMenu a while ago so I don't remember the load order unfortunately. I'd just check the mods related to LooksMenu and make sure the load order is correct. You've got quite a few mods... lol

Oh I'm not sure if modwat shows what I mean but what I meant is I sorted the left side of mod organizer in the order that I installed the mods. So for example I'd install the pipboy flashlight, then a replacer sound. Then make sure that order is the same on the right side of mod organizer, of course some mods like frostbite specifically say where to put them in the load order so I did my best to do just that.
I ran loot (did not know it was pre-installed in MO2). It did not show any problems regarding face, just some problems with outfits that I'm already aware of and are technically a false positive (I use AOC instead of armor Smith).

Edit: Pretty sure FOMOD is acting up that's why I messed up my installation. Now I need to find a way to fix FOMOD and reinstall the mods.
