I like how suddenly assigning a person to the clinic, they become a doctor. It must be synth knowledge transfer and everybody in the game is a synth...
Stimpaks don't fix disease or rads or addiction. And they cost more than doctor services.
But as I said, doctor services can be available from several nearby places. And Goodneighbor is the hood of the city, where the bums and drunks live.
If she's not able to provide medical services and there are none available there, since it's an exception (the only one I can think of), you would at least expect an explanation to be supplied in-game. Hancock hates doctors, or the last one was a synth spy, something like that. With any kind of in-game explanation, I'd be totally fine with it.
Also the Slog doesn't have a doctor (though it's only about 4-5 people when you get there).
The first perk of Ghoulish solves most of your healing problems.
And as I said, there are several locations very close by that either have a doctor, or you can build a clinic for your doctor needs.
