(Solved) Fallout 4 not saving

Ive been playing this huge♥♥♥♥♥mod (Fusion City Rising) and the game suddenly stopped making new saves. If I quicksave and walk a few meters and try to load it my quicksave doesnt show up.
(Bitdefender was blocking aplication access and had to make an exception for it to work)

i had a similar problem on PS4 version of the game. There is a mod that allows you to make a hard save.

It is. I have tried everything (including disabling read-only) and it doesnt seem to help

Nope. Nothing seems to work, and I've been trying to fix it for over a month now. A month of time that I'll never ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ get back. It's quite dissapointing.

saving survival mode, or some such. I found it by typing in save or survival save in the Bethesnet search engine. This is what i have used on the PS4. I have not had any save problems on the PC version.

If either of you have Bitdefender installed it blocks Fallout 4 from saving. Add FO4 to the exceptions. Also add FO4 in Windows Defender.

my problem wasn't answered, but i didn't expect a ps4 problem answered here. I have gone to the ps4 site and got little to no help on the issue. I started a new character with fewer mods installed, hoping this does the job. If it doesn't, i may just have to go back to vanilla survival. I had a hell of a great time on vanilla survival, so it won't be that bad if it comes to that.

your ps4 memory card is full you need to wipe it and your ps4 and start over and buy everything again from scratch (ps ps4 help here is limited to telling you to format everything and start over)

If there is not a pinned solution on this issue perhaps there should be considering how many "I can not save my game" threads have been created since bitdefender and other similar programs implemented this "feature" that blocks the games access to the folder and files it created to save the game.

my memory is not full. The cloud is half full. My game saves have been trimmed down to about 12. And my harddrive has 40 mb of memory. I do think i had too many big mods loaded. Subway runner has like 13 mb. immersive gameplay has 3.5. I had a lot of other big mods loaded. I deleted most of them and started a new character. I am running half the number of mods. Hope it helps. Thing is, i played for 1000 hours with no trouble. Until i loaded Immersive gameplay. And scrapall. I got rid of immersive, kept scrap all.

doubt it. The ps4 has never given me problems before. It gives me no problems on any other games. Other ps4 users have reported the same problem on the website. Unlikely all those people are suffering from PS4 failure. More likely some sort of update wrecked things. But you may be right. If so, i'll just go buy another one.
