Vs the BOS or RailRoad, Battle of Bunkerhill. (Everyone but munitemen)
Vs the BOS as Minutemen, just getting into combat against them.
Vs the Minutemen, if created, Nuka World Raiders, but can be undone somewhat.
As the Institute vs rest, I believe it's called Mass Fusion as well.
The Minutemen you cannot trigger battle of bunker hill. If that quest triggers your forced to go brotherhood, railroad or institute.
The brotherhood and railroad
Battle of bunker hill also plays a large role with these two. If you side with one you will be at war with the other.
The institute refusing to work with them will trigger a Minutemen ending but war will be imminent with them leading to defend the castle.
Also siding with the railroad or brotherhood in battle of bunker hill could turn them hostile if you don’t pass a difficult speech check with father.
Basically the endings depend on how you respond to father recruiting you and how you handle battle of bunker hill.
You'll be told by the Institute to go recruit a doc/scientist guy near Greygarden. When you get there, the quests prompts you to deal with the Minutemen waiting outside. Tell them what's going on and side with them, turning the quest into rescue-the-scientist instead of recruit-the-scientist. Go in and shoot the Institute people waiting in the scientist's house (they may still be marked friendly until the bullets fly). Badabing, badaboom.
Mass Fusion and Spoils of War are mutually exclusive missions for the Institute and Brotherhood, respectively; doing either one of them turns the opposing faction hostile (when you travel to the mission location).
The others missions that result in automatic hostility are all those that have you blatantly attacking the group in question, like the different versions of The Nuclear Option, where you attack the Institute.
