lethargy cured by sleep in survival mode?

I'm confuse, since the game tip told me I needed a doctor or antibiotics.

However, the disease went away after a few days.

Is this a bug or feature, does anyone know for sure?

No this is not a bug. All illnesses will cure over time. It sometimes takes more than a week.

Well lethargy is basically chronic exhaustion so it would make sense that sleeping would help.

Most diseases (Perhaps all?) Resolve after a few days of rest. The only illness I haven't seen self-resolve is Parasites.

Well, i cured insomnia with sleep...

This may be an old thread, but it doesn't hurt to add that parasites do get removed after sleeping for long enough in survival mode. However, there's a chance to get parasites from sleeping, so if you're unlucky you can get new parasites.
