But no, those DLCs aren't doing anything to your drop rates.
Or just kill the Rogue Knight.
When you get a quest about "the gauntlet" follow the map marker to the arcade, and start it
Sleep for a day or two in another location, and come back to Nuka Town to get the quest again
Rinse and repeat until you face off against a rogue brotherhood knight, which in the arena, will be a gatling laser with unlimited ammunition (basically)
Aeternius is only good on Survival, when your weight limits might influence how many fusion cores you can lug around.
Just get OCDeocrator. Place in used fusion cores get refreshed ones back. I know, I know it's not the purpose of the mod and what some might consider cheating but there you go.
DLCs, as far as I have seen, have only modified the legendary item pool, adding their guns and armor to the list, and not the generation algorithm itself.
I am level 140.
I think they are because before I got my DLCs I used to get Gauss Rifles more often at Gunners Plaza and maybe a gatling laser from time to time. Now I am getting neither of these two weapons. only radium rifles and other DLC crap. Although dont get me wrong, the explosive radium rifle is a beast.
I'm playing on Very Hard.
The thing about the DLC is they introduce new Legendary loot, so the tables expand, thus reducing the chances of any individual item appearing.
Removing the DLC will increase your chances, but it isn't actually stopping you from getting Laser Gatlings.
