Nuka world; The Castle as a raider outpost?

I was wondering if there is a way to make the castle an outpost. The minute man doesnt occupy it but i own it because i cleared they mirelurks. Does the castle have to be occupied by the minute man before i can make it an outpost or can it not be an outpost at all. If it cant is there a mod that can make it one?

The only requirement to make one of your owned outposts a raider outpost is that there has to be at least one settler there. So if you can access the workshop at the castle, you can send a single settler there (or build a recruitment beacon). Once there's a settler there, you should be able to select it for conversion to a raider outpost via Shank. Not sure if just building a raider flag there will convert it without talking to Shank first, haven't tried just doing that.
