Getting Dark Too Early

Is there any way to make the game get darker later in the day? I know that in that part of the world in that time of the year it is completely dark by 6pm but its very annoying playing in. I'm playing with a darker nights type of mod and absolutely love it for my settlements but I can't stand it when I have to leave my settlements and its dark for 14 hours of the day. I remember being able to change this with a mod in Skyrim but can't seem to find one for Fallout 4. I would love it to get dark at 10pm and have the sun come back up at 6am. Is there any way that I can do this?

Doesn't sound like vanilla setting. Sunset in vanilla game happens around 10:30-11.00.

Are you using True Storms with Earlier Sunsets?

I am using True Storms but I could have sworn that I deactivated that setting. Looked at my plugins and I had 2 instances of the Earlier sunsets there. Re installed the mod and double checked to make sure that it was set to normal day times and it was still there. Hoping that deactivating that part won't cause too many issues. when you say too early.. that mean on your game clock dark before 10:30 or is your game speed set faster than Vanila , i think it 20 mine set at 6 thru console comand.

I wondered about this too, the day night cycle seems faster then I remember

It was set at the vanilla 20 but a mod was causing it to be completely dark at 6pm. I deactivated that part but I will probably drop it down to 6 as well.

I always just use the command;

set timescale to 10

because the default 20 is just to fast. If it's my day off and im feeling like a real "couch potato" i set it to 5.

Just dont go lower than 5....things can mess up lol.
