Fallout 4 Random Crash (NO MODS)
I have this problem with FO4. I never had a problem with FO4 but now I have this:

My setup is:

i7-9700KF
RTX 2080 Super
16 GB RAM
Windows 10 Update 2004
NVIDIA Drivers 452.06

I don't have problems with Fallout 76 or Skyrim, only with Fallout 4 :VGRUMPY:
I'm not using mods.

Any ideas?

Are you using weapon debris on?

Well, i had the same problem with my HP Omen Notebook, set the "Windowed Mode" and "Borderless" on, but "Weapon Debris" off in the game option, the game is running pretty stable now.

It's also suggested to set your max. frame rate for Fo4 around/below 70, since anything higher might also cause the game to crash.

I'm running the game with several mods, nearly all the Sim Settlements packs, companions plus story packs and the "Unofficial Fallout 4 Patch" too. I'll probably add a few more mods to the game, but i'll it keep within reason, don't want to mess this up.

If you get problems with setting the right resolution

this might help with it.

The max framerate is actually 60. And yes, the RTX series of NVIDIA graphics cards doesn't support Weapon Debris.

I'm playing FO4 at 72 fps because I have 144 hz monitor, do i need to limit the fps to only 60?
My crash problem was only because I had weapon debris enabled, right now i can play.

PD: guys thanks for your answers, and sorry if my english is not very good hahaha

Seems my issue is different but I had CTD every load until I uninstalled the "high Resolution Texture Pack" DLC - I've been able to play some more now without the CTD that was present. Am still testing, I should add I'm AMD on older drivers as I'm having other graphics issues that I'm investigating.

The game speed in this game is tied to your fps, soI do recommend capping your fps at 60, because otherwise dialogue can overlap or lockpicking is going super fast
