Xan's Sunshine Tidings Ghoul Cleanup. https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/21008 --having a bunch of persisting ghoul corpses in my settlement was just one of those irritating things.

Anyway, I don't really know what I should suggest as a mod. I skimmed through my list and saw "Makeshit Battery Generator" for one. Of course that name is somewhat retarded because a battery is simply not a generator but it makes those otherwise uesless battery trash items work as ingame generators now. They're small, silent, perfect for some spots and situations. And they add to that post-apocalyptic look. Not an overpowered mod either because the power output is small and the batteries are more or less rare (traders have them too sometimes).
Finding a battery is also more of a "oh yes!" moment now.
"Pipboy Flashlight" changes the light coming from your pipboy. You can choose different patterns and levels of light intensity for both the pipboy and the power armour lamp. Overall adds to the atmosphere greatly.
"Phoenix Lab" magazine replacers. Because magazines are rare and special and must look pretty. There are ton of other replacers though. It's just the one I'm going with.
"Minutemen Squads" is another great mod that I only found recently. It let's you control up to three squads of minutemen to do all the minuteman settlement quests for you (via a pipboy tape). Even has a new fully voiced NPC to integrate the mod better into the main game. You can make the soldier essential and give them nice uniforms and equipment or you just send them to their doom whenever you feel like it and replace the fallen ones regularily with new recruits. Hopefuly the mod author will continue with his work eventually.
So that makes four mods already. Time to stop here. Too lazy to look through the list anymore anyway.
The player character speaking at all is never a good idea;

Might want to take a look at "Player comments and head tracking". I haven't tried out your mod but this one does a pretty good job at the same thing and is pretty refined (plus it even received a bigger update a little while ago). Also works with "Settler and Companion Dialogue Overhaul" (via patch).
I reworked the raiders to turn them in some PMC like organization, with modded weapons, and Endless Warfare to make the spawn in the world, plus other minor crafting things.
I highly encourage everyone to dive into the Creation kit, they literally gave us almost every tool to tailor the game as we like and it's super powerful

Oh I just downloaded the Player comments/headtracking and tested it out for the last hour. OMG, what a great mod. I would have never seen it were it not for this thread. Thanks!
