Health command cheat glitch?
I was originally making a discussion on a glitch in dangerous minds quest, every time I would talk to amari after I was done with the memories I would die. Well I thought it was because I cheated and set my health really high. So I tried putting a negative in it. Just made my health negative (what was I thinking). And then I would have 0 health but I'm alive. Well now I've successfully talked to amari and started the Glowing Sea quest. Problem is my health set itself to 170 but I'm still at 0 and if I try to use radaway it kills me. And I can't heal myself. How do I fix this?

Player.setav health 200

If that does not work as expect, try the same line but with:

modav

Hth

How do I fix this?

Load a save from before you used console commands you do not really understand. Get a cheat mod that lets you set you health and use that instead.

Otherwise you problem is only going to get worse

Another one of those "I edited my health with the console and now I die topics."

"Hey if I have no hp, nothing can kill me!" I am guessing that went through your head instead of, oh I don't know, giving yourself 1mil hp as the regeneration is % based making any regen ticks negate any and all dmg.

You probably ruined your entire save if you don't have an earlier save point as now every time you go above 1, it treats it as you went below 1.

The mistake many people make is using a command to set their health. Then later down the road they find out the error. They set their health as a specific value and stopped gaining health every level. So later on when mobs start dealing more damage they get one shotted.

that is what will happend when you modify your own health, could just toggled god mode (tgm) and be done with.
giving oneself higher health is like using the setessential 07 01 command weirdness happens.

If you want an immortal character just use the tgm command and be done with it.

I fixed with with player.resethealth but sometimes I just die after talking with someone. Nothing hostile, no shooting. After talking to someone I just die.

Why would you dig this up?

The topic is about someone using a console command to @#$% with their health and in doing so @#$%ed their hit points up permanently.

The morale is if you are going to cheat with your health do it the right way and just use TGM.
