You'd think Bethesda would of had it that if you have a Brahmin in your settlement it produces fertilizer over time.

Hmm theres gotta be a mod for that somewhere............

You can buy shipments from farms, or get brahmin in your settlements.
The cap on how much brahmin can make in each settlement each day is low though.

Only way I can think of you getting more fertilizer is in a round about way, building lots of water purifiers and setting up supply lines between settlements, collecting the water from the aid portion of workshop and selling it to merchants and buying shipments of fertilizer that way.

Abernathy, the slog, finch farm and the one with the robots(brainfart) all have default vendors that sell fertilizer in stacks of 25.

Thanks for the tips guys :)

I might give this mod a try, it lets you compose extra vegetables and craft fertilizer with them. I should really figure out how the brahmin thing works though too.

Get some brahmin. Look for a traveling random encounter and speak to an NPC called Kelly.

If you are using mods, there is one that removes the caps on settlement surpluses. I tend to use it and turn a settlement into a ranch with a bunch of cattle cages to trap and keep a ton of brahmin there.

Abernathy is a good one, very easy to set up defenses and a lot of empty area to build the pen/traps in

But like food/water/caps it's capped to a limit in production. So 3 cows = max per day with a hard cap for production as well.

So a herd of 20 makes as much as the 3 without mods

I use the Contraption Composter mod that coverts spare food items to fertilizer.

Works well with the Autobutcher machine from Manufacturing Extended

Any existing farm with a brahmin will have produced possibly hundreds by the time you find it.
Nite69 Jun 18, 2018 @ 7:05pm
damn I forgot about the contraption workshop cages, yea that is an idea to get more Brahmin if you have trouble tracking down kelly to buy them
