Fort Hagen exit bug ?
Ok so first of all im new to steam so if theres anything i could do better please let me know :)

Nearly every time i kill kellog my game crashes however if i manage to kill him without crashing my game, every time i access the terminal to exit fort hagen and trigger the shadows of steel quest my game freezes then closes down. ive tried disabling mods, reinstalling the game, using different/ no companions but still the game crashes.

any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Have you tried lowering everything to the lowest in graphics? might work, dunno

You may want to verify your files. You could have a corrupted asset that crashes the game.

I did have quite a lot of mods installed but I disabled them and re loaded a save before entering fort hagen. And I also tried lowering the graphics with no luck. Apparently its a widespread issue and Bethesda is to blame. But thanks for your help anyway

Sorry I forgot to mention I'm using console so nexus mods won't work. I've never had this issue before which makes me think a Bethesda update might be responsible

If any of those mods had scripts then disabling will only make things worse

Oh OK I wasn't aware of that, would I be better off doing other quests and then going back to fort hagen ? Maybe that will work

(UPDATE) for anyone else experiencing this issue, going away from the fort and doing other missions and then returning worked for me first time.
