I am sure it must have been added after you downlioaded the mod, cause I am sure would not wnat other people to do your mod page reading for you
I did see that, but the modder also said that you have to follow the instructions in the .text file since it does not actually modify anything. Unless I do this "addkeyword 23f1ca" thing, it doesn't change in-game for me. However, I can't figure out the "addkeyword 23f1ca" thing.
To be honest, I'm pretty new to modding. I liked Nexus because the manager does all the stuff for me. This is probably my first time trying to do a Manual download.
Plus I do not see the modder saying what you said he did
That would make no sense
You could just follow the directions and see if it works
I figured out what it was - it was a brain fart.
Basically, I was testing it in my settlement at The Castle. I would enable to Bat file and then antagonize everyone into attacking me. The problem was that my allies kept picking up weapons that were better than what they had to continue their attack. Previously, they did this if they ran out of ammo, so I was assuming that this was the case during my test too.
However, I can't check their inventories once they're my enemies. So, I decided to test it at the Wicked Shipping Company instead. I enabled the Bat file and gave each companion one bullet, then went Ghoul hunting. With the exception of one companion, they didn't use up their single bullet, kept using the guns that I gave them, and still had one round in their inventories.
My apologies for the runaround! It seems that I did install the mod correctly after all and was overthinking it. The problem was my testing method rather than the mod installation.
