I believe the folder is called Common Redists.
Install the direct 2010 (DXSETUP) and c++ redistributables.
Did a 2nd check, the Dx runs the install, but seems to me they are the same files, no update, and no improvements.
As for the c++, also did the install and updated all drivers whit Drive Booster. No changes
Another thing I've forgot to mention is that now GForce Exp detects that I've got Far Harbor installed... Don't have and never had...

Try launching in 1280 x 720 or 1920 x 1080 and report back.
Edit:
Also Intel graphics is showing up in your reset?
Any idea why?
Intel 3000 will black screen in this game.
Weird indeed, didn't noticed that...
So in the launcher it sets the res to 1280 x 720, but in the ini to 1536 x 864...
Launched the game in various resolutions, the ini updates every time to the res I select in the launcher but still all I get is the black screen...
I guess that is what happens by default in laptops with 2 GPUs, the games always detect the integrated (intel 3000), but by forcing the game to run on the Nvidia, in the control panel, when the game starts so does the secondary (gt 555m)
Same happens with Skyrim
Skyrim.ini : [Launcher]
sD3DDevice="Intel(R) HD Graphics 3000"
uLastAspectRatio=1
Actually I've also tried to launch Fallout 4, having Skyrim running on windowed mode(and on the nvidia) to see if it would detect the nvidia, no sr!!!! It still only detects the intel
I'm also convinced that the problem is in the gfx, but what could possibly been deleted in the reset that caused this to happen?...
Yes I did
Driver Version 9.17.10.4459
Although they are already one year old (19-May-16), but are the latest intel released for the 3000

Your iGPU is not detected by Steam, so good. Might check control panel 3d performance settings anyway.
The odd part is the launcher setting a wonky (1536 x 864) resolution. Might be that you ran FO4 when your iGPU only was detected? Might try to refresh your Steam install with Steam's "clear download cache" which includes the old "steam://flushconfig" that rebuilds/verifies Steam files just like "verify/validate game cache" does for Steam game files/
https://support.steampowered.com/kb_article.php?ref=3134-TIAL-4638
Then, delete your .ini files and have Steam re-enumerate your h/w.

So either there is a problem or someone already turned it off.
Can you access the BIOS of your laptop? And can you look for an option regarding the display and initialization order (look for PCI Express before on-board)? Or perhaps for an option to disable on-board graphics?
On this occasion no. Everything was on "default" i.e. Global settings -> Auto select(iGPU) Program Settings -> Fallout 4 -> High-performance Nvidia
I've tried disabling the iGPU in the Device manager and run the game, instead of a black screen I get a grey and the game stops working on launch...
Will try that, tyvm!
It's turned on, might be a problem?... should steam also detect the iGPU?
yes i can
This is the other thing that's been bugging me, I can't access the displays, only the HDD boot order.
And updating the BIOS, to possibly be able to disable the on-board graphics, that would be my very last resort, as I can't seem to be able to know what my motherboard model is...
No changes...
Still sets the resolution to 1280 x 720, and black screen...
