FROST Overhaul

Anyone here use FROST Overhaul? How does it compare to STALKER? Is it much better than vanilla Fallout 4?

i have started a playthrough using this mod. I have not played enough of stalker to make that comparison, but i have played tons of vanilla fallout 4. Is it better than vanilla fallout 4? No. But it is different. When you are sick of having the same experience in the commonwealth, Frost gives you another way to go.

Radiation is much more dangerous, especially since you no longer get radiation relief with aquamarine. You must have a gasmask or die. The enemies are tough. It is in survival mode. Settlements building has been stripped down to nearly nothing. No one is your friend. i went to abernathy and instead of the docile farmers of vanilla, i came across raving post apoc haters who shot me dead on sight. The description that the mod gives tells the rest of the story.

It is a different take on the commonwealth. Good for a change of pace once you get sick of vanilla. Only thing, it doesn't like a lot of mods. Texture packs and enbs and nudity mods seem to work okay with it, but not much of anything else. This includes weather mods and such. It has its own weather modifications added in.

Yup it is better, i wouldnt compare it to Stalker, i would compare it with Metro, cause most of the paople lives in the Subways, you should use Fallout 2287 (Gas Mask Mod), that forces you to wear a gas Mask on teh Surface, and all other Human NPC´s, or you/they die

definitely use this mod. i think FROST forces you to use a gas mask or die, and this mod provides masks that give some extra armor protection.

well, i got the mod you mentioned so i suppose it is there. Which is what i want too. Having to have a gas mask on gives it a much more apoc feel. It is a good mod. A must have for FROST in my humble opinion.
