HOW do conduits work?
I get the jist of them: Being able to run through walls and such. But mine never seem to work. I wanted to use them to run along the ground instead of having ugly wires all over the house, But for some reason Power doesn;'t seem to flow through them, And the power emitter never seems to work for me. What am I missing?

they work on a radius, if the item is in range of the conduit, it has power. You can make power lines thru the floor, the ceiling, roof, wherever.

Items that require 1 and more power need to be wired.

Thats the thing tho,

I can have aconduit line, Creat the junctions and what not, Have them hooked up to a power source, But then suddenly it wont emit power out of the other wired connection side.

Basically no power goes through even tho I have it all hooked up.

If you got the Workshop DLC, those street lights suck up 1 Power each, so either you are short on power, or you switched off your generator. Also If you haven't tried it yet, I know some lights need to be very close to connecters to work, or simply picked up and placed again.

I reccommend getting the increased radius mod from nexus. Its very useful and it limits the number of pylons needed in a settlement significantly. Perhaps it may help

You must be putting them outside range? or you could just put the power line there after the lighting etc was already in place, sometimes you just need to move it and it works.

If you have a source delivering enough power and a conduit in range, then the power will get there 100%. You are messing up something. Maybe you're using switches, maybe you're not using junctions correctly, maybe you're using more power than you have available.

I tend to have a huge circuit often going thru street lights, its easy to setup and it looks far better than having ugly wooden poles everywhere. From the lights you can provide power to everything, have switches if you wish, and all that.

The conduit pipes and their attachment points (from which you can run a wire) don't transmit power to nearby devices unless you put their own special emitters on them. Their function is to make things look neat, and sometimes to take things through walls if you don't want to use the wire glitch.
