is the barrel spinning?

Did you hold the fire key down? It has a ridonkulously long spin up time. A real-world M134 spins up in like half a second.

Nothing spins. I uninstalled the game, so I'd have to reinstall to see if it works (which I highly doubt it will).

Oh, I've holded it more than 30 minutes.

When the barrel isn't spinning, then your clicked the fire button two times, then it's spins for a short time and then somehow "jams", you have to stop pressing fire button until nothing is spinning anymore, than you can klick the fire button again and hold it.
Happens to me often.
Also, uninstalling to fix a bug is the dumbest idea ever

I have to agree, uninstalling because 1 weapon is not working properly, is kind of overkill I mean really its not that big of a deal, I pretty much jump out and just kill them without it anyway, though you may not be a high enough level. (given your hours in the game)

I mean really with only 10 hours in the game, you have barely scratched the surface of the game.
You also must be skipping most of the sidequests.

As to why its not working, never had that particular issue, are you running any mods? I have a mod which actually gives me a slightly different issues in that it makes the vertibird not actually appear (no idea which one I am running loads, but one of them is doing it) so when I get that mission with a new character I have to go on foot anyway.

It isn't dumb as if you have old hardware, it sometimes helps. You're dumb to say that.

It's not hard to keep saves, "OMG, Uninstalling is such a big deal!" WTF, it isn't, unless you're limited to bandwidth. I can't jump out and even if I did, I only bought this game to play with mods and that's mostly the reason why I decided not to do quests, instead do the main quest in god mode and see my ending.

Like really, do you think a game that can be modded would be fun by playing on its own? It wouldn't because if you have the ability to add mods, that's what that game is mostly going to be about.

Now your dumb to say so, staring the game with mods the first time, dumb too, cause you don't know the vanilla assets, I played 700 hours without mods, before I decided to make a second Character and using mods, and right now I only have 5-8 spots free in my load order til I reach 255 plugins

The minigun is trash use a pipe pistol like a real wasteland scavenger.
Ceejay Jul 16, 2017 @ 6:01am
We are getting slightly off topic, so I am not going to keep going back and forth.

I could talk about how much of the game your missing Why you should not play with god mode, why you need to explore and do side quests, why you do not actually need mods to enjoy the game(though yes mods are great I use loads myself), why your actually missing out on the whole point of the fallout games etc.

However at the end of the day your free to do as you please, but some of your statements/views are rather funky to say the least, but then you are still rather young. So they may change.

xD Young. Sure thing. When you buy a game, you're free to do what you want. I uninstalled it, and kept it uninstalled. I beat the game MY way, and when I beat a game, I don't go playing it again, unless it's been quite some time. Getting my permit at 15 and 1/2, soon to get a drivers license, but saving it till I'm 18, so I know I am ready. Have a savings and checking bank account. But no, that's not for "rather young" people. I should be 18 to have those things.

I would've, but I don't think you can complete it other than being forced on the minigun.

Uninstalling and reinstalling games have fixed issues for me a BUNCH of times. You may think it's dumb, but it has worked and will continue to work for me. For now, I'm not installing this game any time soon. Also, if you're saying I didn't reply to your post... I've replied to every post you've said.

Uninstalling this game and not reinstalling may be the only answer for some people to fix the bugs that pop up in this game. Even with 500 hours playing this game it STILL bugs out on me with different bugs at random times. I've installed and reinstalled so many times I'm pretty much done playing whack-a-bug on this game. If others can and have played it, great. Telling someone that uninstalling over a bug is stupid is stupidity in and of itself; especially when the person tried to justify it by saying the person is "young". At 50 years old, I'm far from young anymore, and I'll play a game how I wish to play it; not as someone else tries to tell me how to do because I might "miss the vanilla assets". Who cares if I, or anyone else, misses something in a game we're playing? Oh right, some of the posters on the forum. Obviously how we play our games is their business.
