How I got rid of Trashcan Carla

If you don't want to wait for her to leave your settlement to kill her (which I didn't want to wait to do). Get a sniper rifle go out of the build zone of your settlement and blow that traitorous head of her shoulders. Loot her and then drag her into the bushes.
Killing her this way will stop your settlers going agro on you

Carla is an institute informer, but yea, has no impact in your game and is useful to come around for trading.

Does she have some special talent? Some special scanner?

All of the roaming traders are Institute snitches. Which is amusing since they work for Stockton and he is an active RR member.

Only irritating thing I've found is her damn brahmin is always getting in the way. Stupid animal pooping all over my settlement.

I wish i could shoot her brahmin. it's always ether glitching inside my house or blocking the gate i've built. No other brahmin gets stuck but hers

She sells bulk oil, and is about the only vendor, my settler shops included, who does. Without having to walk 100 miles to get it.

He runs all the traders out of Bunker Hill iirc. To me that means he is their boss and/or is at least partially responsible for them. I know the armor guy works for him since he does give you that dialogue. The doc and Cricket (oh you sexy mama) I'm not sure about, but it seems reasonable that he either helped set them up, or is still involved in their business.

I've never seen Carla there, but I've seen posts where she does show up at BH sometimes. I only ever encounter her at the Diner and Sanctuary, or walking along various points on the route through Concord between those two locations.

She stops by bunker hill yea, and can be spotted in those stands in the centre doing trading just behind a counter this time, next to Deb the lady in a jumpsuit.

Stockton tends to show up dead in his underwear. Who or what he is doesn't last very long, even without player intervention. Can't save all the cash registers or free all the terminals :<

Eh tbh I always side with the Institute, just personally would be the choice I'd choose irl, yet even still, while I usually don't kill Carla, there's always something I find off about her, can't quite place it though.
