Increase Build Limit Vault 88 With Console
Just wondering if there is a way to double the build limit in Vault 88? My getav 348 and getav 34A codes return values of 0.00 at the workbench in the main hall when you first go into the vault. I am on PC. :)

Probably mods for this but I don't mod and was wondering if it could be done with the console. You can build a few rooms and be close to max and only be in the first buld area. :( Thanks!!

It can be done with console but after you install a simple mod.

You can also use the traditional drop items and pick them up again. Im on survival and don't have a console, i usually do it and works fine.

Use the:
setav 349 3675555555.00
setav 34B 3675555555.00
commands on each of the workshops in each sector, and you'll have a near finite amount of space.

Ah thank you! None of them would return a value and I was like...okay double 0.00 is 0.00 LOL!

It's been a while since I've done this. Shouldn't my size meter change? It's still where it was when I set the totals on all workshops, around 3/4 full. Since you start out around half on the meter in 88 I thought it would at least move to the original mark.
Settlements Expanded Combined mod.

Man even dropping stuff isn't changing it. Do I need to be totally maxed for the dropped items to work? Does it matter what I drop cause I am carrying everything I have right now, over 5,000 for weight. I entered the setav codes on all shops and my meter is still going up and never dropped any. Been a long time since I tried setav so I don't remember how it effects the size meter.

Shrug [www.nexusmods.com] beats typing it at every settlement
I think EXP gain is also uncapped

I don't mind typing it in. I don't mod. I just don't think it is working in Vault 88 unless my meter is gonna cap and I can still build.

Ah I finally got the console to work. It wasn't giving me the correct code to load with EP on the end. Once I had that it worked great! :)

How’d you make the console work? I have the same issue, my build limit bar is still maxed and I can’t add anything more.

The console method is a bit harder as you have to use a command to 'see' the current values of different variables, Crunch some math, And then set those same couple values. It really is just easier to make a gunz.txt file in the FO4 directory, Paste into it the placeatme command for about 50 pipe revolvers, Then call that in game with 'bat gunz' a couple times and scrap them all off the ground, Save, Build a bit and see if it's stable, Then repeat as necessary. But always have a few saves so if something screws up an hour later on a playthrough you can go back to before you scrapped too many pistols.

I agree that for the amount of space they give you, You can only build/decorate a p--s poor little minivault.

EDIT: And the bar does shrink, It's just by an inpercievably tiny fraction of a pixel each time so you only notice it go down a notch after removing about 10,000 tris worth of crap.

Never mind, I was just clicking on the wrong spot. We’re good.
