Texture Optimization Mod Corruption

WinRar and 7zip keep mentioning the file is corrupt and cannot be extracted. I keep trying to specify a path and tell it to include broken files, redownloading the file, reinstalling winrar, which sometimes says that it cannot open a 7z file, which its being downloaded in, but 7z still wont open it.

If two different archive utilities are telling you the file is corrupt, I suggest you believe them and try to re-download a good copy of the mod. Trying to force an install of a corrupted mod is just begging for trouble that can come in the form of graphics glitches, random CTD or a corrupted save.

Yeah, I've redownloaded it three times now. Each time it says the same thing. There's only one main file to download from.

Well, I just downloaded the main file from Nexus and extracted it using 7-zip ver 16.02 (64 bit). There was no corruption, no errors, nada.

I downloaded the Optimized Vanilla Textures 1-10 Archvie under the main file 6 June 2016. It downloaded it, the icon was a winrar icon, but it ended in .7z

I tried to extract it and it gives me a diagnostics message that says it cannot open it. (Cannot open: C:\Users\Username\Desktop\Working\2\All Bugs fixed TOP 0.19 with all DLC-978-0-19Final.7z: The archive is corrupt ) I tried to right click - test archived files and it says there is no problem, but apparently it still gives me some sort of error.

It seems to show that its 1.96 GB, but when I move over to the Archive Tab under Properties it shows 0 files...

I figured out more. It seems its not just this file, but every rar file I download seems to be corrupted, and just rar files

Have you considered that it may be your 7zip or unrar software?
