Mod to hide crosshair when gun is drawn?

I don't like the crosshair when aiming so I turned it off in the settings, however I still prefer to have the dot when I am not using a gun so that I can use it to pick items up with more ease.

Are there any mods that will do just that rather than an entire HUD overhaul?
