Manufacturing - Breaking down weapons/armor for scrap

I'd like to create a manufacturing chain where I'll put all my unwanted weapons and armor in to a hopper and have the entire disassembly be done by manufacturing.

Is this possible in the game via either vanilla or modded?

Manufacturing extended. Best mod ever and something that should have been in vanilla contraptions workshop from the start.
