Weather Mod

When i see a weather mod page on nexus, i dont think this mod will do any good to the game. 3 months later..... i decided to try it and...... HOLY SH!T, i was wrong... the rain looks so natural. Now i always set raining weather when im outside. Anyone have same experience like me?

Yes and no, i've tried the vivid weathers mod which has a lot of AWESOME weathers I will not deny, but at the same time there's snow fall in your face when you're standing in the basement of a garage, which is obviously idiotic.

It does make those wasteland strolls much more engaging though!

i use nac mods. u can just change the weather from ur pipboy if u dont like the current weather. So basically i can make it non stop rain lol

true storms is great, now with dust storms I can't see the other end of my gun (ok, so that is an exaggeration, but visibility is massively reduced), I can now actually notice when the weather is different without having to tink about it

I highly suggest natural atmospheric commonwealth for visuals.

True storms for more weather conditions.

You mean natural atmospheric commonwealth? Yep, along with photorealistic commonwealth.

I personally prefer it over true storms.

its because in the mod page, the tree have leaves, so i thought it does that too

Its another mod. NAC is just a lighting and weather mod.

I'm using True Storms, Nuclear Weather, and vivid weather mods, with a patch that allows all three to play nicely and work together so there is a huge variety in what i'll see out there from really pretty, to eerie, to strange. There is also a option on the True Storms that makes it where every rad storm generated by True Storms only, has a chance you can set for it to spawn ghouls, I max out the spawn rate to 30, and for the chance for a rad storm to be a ghoul invasion to 80%.

Doing it this way makes it where defense in settlements suddenly mean a whole lot more to me. Every time this triggers you know it because after a few minutes into the rad storm you hear a ghoul yelling in the distance indicating that it's about to be hell on earth. And since the other mods also have similar rad storms you never know when it might happen as it could go from one mod's rad storm to the other.

Though for some reason going through far harbor like this made it where every time it got super foggy, which it did very very often, would be considered a rad storm to summon ghouls and turned the whole island into a struggle just to move forward, though it was neat seeing the harbor itself under constant attack by ghouls.
