It works like a dream. You can have up to 16 companions. It lets you have followers you never thought you could. I especially like to make followers of the Goodneighbor Triggermen.
The Triggermen say all sorts of amusing things that you would not normally hear.
This mod used in conjunction with the mod "Portable Cloning Device", you can literally make anyone a follower...even those you come across that are already dead.
Taking 16 followers to the Glowing Sea and finding a spot where the ghouls are constantly respawning, you level up very fast, as well as being a blast with all the firepower going off at once.
It was made to have multiple companions, thats why so many power armour colours and things.
Absolutely must have no power armor damage and unlimited ammo to make companions like Danse and settlers though. Then have the right mods to up the difficulty.
Survival wasnt added until there were sim fast travel mods and finding the mods that were meant for the official Fallout 4 is what modding this game is all about.
Pipe weapons were absolutely meant to be modded out basically officially. :) The "official" mod for the is Yonas self defence guns i think its called.
* to add no power armor damage and no ammo use open the creation kit and load a must have mod already in use, then open each companion in the actors list, go to key words and click on the associated key words. Done.
I got a mod called "settlers" that does all npc changes, and it has maybe 40 or so mods in it kind of thing. Seeing what other mods did and just adding it to that one.
