Mods missing .esps
I am struggling to get mods to work, because every time I open up the MCM it says, in this case, "Real World Damages.esp is missing" even though it is there. Is there any way of fixing this? I have Fallout 4 installed on a D drive, and something may have screwed up the process of the mod install. This has also happened to Pack Attack. Some mods do work though, like the alternative text mod.

Which mod manager do you use? The installation instructions on the web page are out of date btw. No need to do manual installs nowadays.

Vortex Mod Manager is what I use. I have heard that Vortex is a bad mod manager to use for Fallout 4, but decided to use it anyways.

I am playing on normal. It is my first playthrough. I am familiar with the modding scene (somewhat), so I wanted to check out what Fallout 4 had to offer, and got the game just a few days ago.

there is your problem. the mod is for survival. from the mod page. manual installation instruction.

5. Set the ingame difficulty to Survival.

always read comments on a mod and the discription

Wish that were the case, but I am pasting a quote directly from the page here:

Q: Can i play with this mod on normal difficulty?
A: Yes you can. But survival is still recommended

It is not required. It is likely something went wrong with the process, as the game is on a D drive, which likely requires some changes to work right, and the mod recommended a new playthrough upon installing it.

Oh dear. It is really late where I am, and I realize now I posted the wrong title for the mod. I am in fact using the better locational damage mod, but I didn't realize that I had put the wrong name on the main. I am very sorry.

Yeah. 2 am brain is hitting me hard. I am going to test starting a new game, see if that works in the morning. If what I do works, I will set this to solved. If not, well, I'll let you know.

Unfortunately, it still is not working. On the MCM the mod shows up, but it says it is missing Better Locational Damages.esp, but I found the file, it should not be missing.

UPDATE: I fixed it. Turns out the I had to turn on plugins as well, which were all disabled, which prevented the mods from working.
