Suppressed Combat Shotgun/Rifle given to companion is loud but when i shoot its quiet

Hello everyone,

So i've modded out some combat rifles and combat shotguns and given them to my companions. They have suppressors but when my companion shoots them they are still pretty loud. When i equip the same weapon and shoot they are really quiet.

Anyone else experienced this? going to try and do some more testing and maybe see if its just the wrong sound clip being played and the suppressed effect is still there. The one where it takes a few shots from a suppressed weapon before the enemy pinpoints your location.

I just did the relationship quests for Macready and Preston using silenced combat rifles, you can still hear the action of the gun but there is very little muzzle report.

I was using Deacon when this was happening, before him i was using Cait and i gave her a suppressed combat rifle. Just now i switched to Preston to get his affinity up and his suppressed combat rifle sounds like a normal suppressed weapon. With Deacon and Cait the suppressed combat shotgun/rifle i gave them sounded just like the unsuppressed version of the same weapon.
