Black Widow Perk On Synths
So I started my first run on PC, and decided to pick female since I've never played it, and therefore have never seen the dialogue options. When I was choosing perks, I chose "Black Widow", a low tier perk. Part of the perk increases your chance of persuading men.

Now here is where the real questions are:

1. Does this affect "male" synths like Valentine?

2. what about super mutants like Strong?

3. What about characters like Mayor McDonough and Paladin Danse who aren't revealed to be synths until later?

In the files super mutants and ghouls aren't given genders and probably wont be affected, but I think it will still work on synths like Nick, McDonough, and Danse.

I haven't checked the data for the perk, but there are no notes that it wouldn't affect on 3rd generation synths. They consider themselves as humans after all.

Valentine is a Unique Gen 2 Synth tho. But I would assume it works on him too.
What about type 1s? In fort Hagen and need these bastards to die (survival mode)
So, as a reverse question, would "Lady Killer" Work on Curie as a synth? or is she still flagged as her miss nanny form? - (Which is why i think she favors melee combat over her rifle)

I think it only affects synths with identity’s like the gen 3s.

I don’t think it effects gen 1s and 2s who have no identity other than being a mindless drone.
Necro aside, it should affect Gen 3 synths, since in terms of game mechanics they use the human race and have genders. I don't think Gen 1 or 2 have specified genders, unless they default to male somehow.

EDIT: Checking in the Creation KIt, the Gen 1 and Gen 2 synth races (and the Valentine Gen 2 synth race used for Nick) are all marked as ungendered. So the GetIsSex checks used by the Black Widow and Lady Killer perks should return a negative for them.

If you think about it, the Lady Killer perk is a rip off if you play nate and go to Far Harbor, as all the Supermutants and Trappers are male.
Best for Nate to go to Nuka World, you get some benefit from the perk.

You wouldn't be any better off with Black Widow for the super mutants, since the super mutant race is tagged as ungendered, just like Gen 1 and 2 synths (and most other creatures). Ditto for super mutant behemoths and DiMA's custom synth race.
