fyi I recommend a complete non modded playthrough first, and then watch a metric ton of videos on how to mod, test with playthrough, and learn how to use mod managers. gopher is usually a good start
there's also this mod; https://modern-firearms-fo4.info/ completely eliminates vanilla weapons with modern firearms (as you could probably guess). this and a few armor mods makes the game into a modern fps shooter
Although for some reason, nexusmod isn't loading. (getting 524 errors)
