Mod for more space in Home Plate?
All I've found were mods that make it look nicer or place furniture. is there a mode for just having more space?

Well there's aloot's home plate which adds a basement with planters, etc https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/44101 that said no it's not what you want then again almost everything is scrappable.

I'm trying out the factory home expanded.... but for the life of me, can figure out where to put the clock key in...

look up, if I can remember quickly! - you should be able to scrap a wall that has a few holes in it, then take the elevator, and then build floors until you reach a bit of wall which sticks out, then scrap that
