Mod Help, Workshop Structures sub menus missing
I've been playing Fallout 4 and tonight I messed up my save games royally. I've been trying to figure out why under the Workshop>Structure menu my "brick" category of building disappeared. This did not coincide with any mod change that I made. But I installed the Fallout 4 unofficial patch to see if that might correct the issue, but it made it worse. Under Workshop>Structures there are now no building caterogires other than totems, lots and lots of freaking totems. :(

I uninstalled the Fallout 4 unofficial patch hoping this would fix the issue, but it did not. and
I've also tried the Missing Tab Fix, where you use a mod to make a chem and eat it fix the Structures tab as in restore that tab. But I have the Structures Tab, what I'm missing is all of the sub categories, wood, metal, concrete, brick. etc.

I've also gone back to older saves before I had installed the Unofficial patch, and loaded them to see if this might fix things. It did not, still seeing only totems in the Workshop Structure Build menu.

I'm willing to uninstall and reinstall the game, then reload the mods, and hopefully when i put in one of my save game files, I'll be able to continue where I left off.

Any thoughts on this or a better way to troubleshoot this issue?
Thanks!

Oh, and a second question. I'm using CBBE Caliente's Beautiful Body Enhancer, along with Body Slide- Anyone familiar with this? What I want to know is that if I uninstall the game and reinstall it, are the settings I made to this mod held in the Mod file within the Mod Folder? If this were true, i'd save the mod folder before I uninstall the game, and then reinstall the game, install CBBE, see what the mod folder number is, and then replace that with the original mod folder for that mod so as to reatain its settings.
Thanks again.

Try the mod "workshop menu missing tabs fix" byGePalladium. Saved me and my savegames more than once. You can find it on NexusMods

Avoid workbench mods that do not add tabs with a script to the workbench menu, otherwise they can step on each other

To clarify, I'm not missing The Structures Tab, I'm missing off of the items listed under that tab, I tried this mod which may be the one you are talking about: https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/22205/?

The next step for me, if I can't find an easy fix, would be to uninstall, reinstall the game, add mods back in and then launch one of my saved game files and hope it is ressurected properly, which brings up the question, are the effect of Fallout mods only in the Mod folder. Or are parts of them kept in other parts of the game folder?
Thanks!

I don't believe any of the mods I use add tabs to the workshop menu, but they do add individual items under the existing tabs.

Mine does, actually "did" you know where it says Structures> Wood, Metal, Concrete, mine had one that said brick and I assume it is attached to one of the DLCs. I don't have a mod installed that expands building other than Sim Settlements, but as far as I know those don't add categories of building pieces that you can select.

List your mods and I should be able to tell you which one adds the brick

Update: ROLLINB BACK the Game 2 hours fixed it. I have absolutely no clue. :steamhappy:

However, does anyone know, what DLC a brick category of building structures, White Paneled Walls, and decorative items like a large clock that can be placed on top of a building to make it look fancy, might be attached to? Thanks!

Something that I used to have is no longer there and I have no idea from where it came.

Note Sim Settlements while it builds pretty fancy structures on it's own, as far as I know does not add building options to your Workshop>Structures menu. I'm thinking there might be a DLC that includes extra items. I think the Vault expansion, includes extra items you can build out of the Workshop Menu. Some of the of following are disabled or deleted and marked as such.
Thanks!

Hmm, at this point I'm wondering if it is mod associated, I've listed those above. Sim Settlements might be it, but those SS related mods just give you the ability to have the mod build the building or settlement however way you choose. As far as I know it does not or is not supposed to add anything extra to the Worshop Menu for you to manually build yourself.
Thanks!

No problem, just had to cut and paste it. It might even be something with Sim Settlements.
