It annoys me but I will take a backup well before leaving to Ark Jet with Dance, I would see if I still have these 5 murders.
The last 5 or 6 synths that took the transmitter before us and immediately attack us when we arrive in the room (a control room, something like that, on the highest floor) are considered murders when you kill them, it's not logical at all, it's clearly a defect of the game that has, it seems, never been corrected !!!
: ((((
I just was randomly checking my stats, and lo & behold I had 4 murders to my credit. I always play a good-type character and am very careful about collateral damage in fire fights, and never intentionally just assassinate someone (unless you include long range sniper attacks on raiders & gunners, but I don't believe the game counts that as murder).
I was further along in the game than you were, but I still had no idea where it happened. Never did figure that out. But that was the only time it happened, but like you, it just annoyed me to have it in my stats, even though it doesn't really mean anything.
Yeah, I was going to suggest this as well.
PS: I also crossed the caravan (trader group) but I killed only the raiders, and I did not have murders to my credit. But if I had killed the merchant or his guards, they would be probably counted as murders.
That's right, synths in the control room in ArcJet always add to the murder count for some bethesda reason. So if you want to keep your murder stats at zero, leave them to Danse to deal with.
