Sim Settlement (Starter Holotape not at Museum of Freedom??)
Tried everything....

Have 2 characters. Main is level 60ish and when I load up his save, all the Sim Settlement stuff is still in his inventory and villages are still running sim settlement stuff.

On a NEW playthru, I take my 2nd character inside Museum of freedom and no holo and no ASAM. The tables that are supposed to have them all are just at default.

Reinstalled/Installed Sim Settlements. Adjusted with "LooT" order manager. Nothing. All my other mods work. Who knows??

Any ideas??

you say all your other mods work. but have you tried the new game with just the sim one? plus have you made comments on the actual mod page for sim settlements so the Dev can see it .
cheers.

Hey, soge99. I am Ilja from Sim Settlements support team.

This might still be a load order issue, where one of the mods in you list is overwriting area.

If you are using NMM, then it is perfectly capable of installing files in to wrong folder, which might cause this issue. Try to make a manual installation with it.

While you say a "new" playthrough, do you actually mean a new game, or using old non-modded save from the start? If latter, then some scripts may have failed to initialize.

If you need, then you can find more eyes and hands from http://simsettlements.com forum. I am part of the site staff, so I can see your replies there as well.

Thanks for the suggestions!

Finally got it to work. It appears my one and only creation club mod hosed my load order. Deleted it completely and now SS triggers properly..

ah, yes, there was a problem with that awhile back. Should be fixed if you reinstall it now, fyi.

Creation Club content? Usually those quests bug out inital encounter with Codsworth (after Vault 111), or/and break Freedom Calls.

Which creation caused this problem?

There was an update a few months back where the CC patch screwed with the load order by mistake. They fixed it relatively quick, but if it happened to you, you had to fix your load order manually. It hasn't happened since so it's possible that the shuffle just didn't effect his existing file.

Out of curiosity, which one was it? There have been reports floating around about CC messing with stuff, but it would be nice to nail it down a bit.
