Buy Geforce stuff, that is high end too .

This Game runs like trash . Basely as is . You know that with those mods you tend to have , maybe remove them San mods and see what haps on a new save with coc codes, if that ♥♥♥♥ works in this game .

I am modding this game now too .

the vanilla version (with UF4OP) ran fine at me. I have now added more texture and mods in my second playthrough and still run fine. I admit that the engine is not optimized but that really depends of your system and what you have added as mods.

From the list that the OP has posted; I have only Vivid Fallout - All in one. I took other mods for textures.

@OP: Does the low fps happen too when you are in Concord?

For an RX580 you should not play on 1440p on ultra settings. Trust me.

Only Boston ran and runs like trash for me and my PC is AMAZING . Although I modded my FO4 like I mod all my versions, next-gens, hella ahead .

Try it with all settings on low and see what happens. Make sure you are not running the high def. Pack from beth.

You are overworking your GPU. Either disable the HD Texture Addon pack in your DLC options in the games properties on Steam (untic the box) or (assuming you have) Halk Hogan's texture mod. What i did what disable the HD Texture Addon. It's not needed if you are running Halk Hogan's mod as he already enhanced the textures.

Further, play the game in 1080p. The texture mods are already optimized for running the game in 1080p.

I have a i7 8700, with 32gb ram and a GTX 1080 Zotac 8gb card. The game will not run in an optimal fps even in 4k settings with my rig. The problem is the engine of the game. Lower resolution is the only way to go without ruining the immersion of depth with shadows, occlusion, etc, texture detail.

Also, use a good SweetFx preset. Like this one. It's all you really need:

Fallout 4 ran 50 to 60fps the first 10 hours I played on pc then I started a new survival save (deleted the old one)

Yes, I'm using the high def texture pack.

Yeah, 1180 Ti better be 60 at least over 1080 Ti OC .

Does Fallout 4 run like crap on a 1080Ti? well I'm happy to get 50fps (rarely a stable 60) at 1440p as I love this game and been playing for probably 300+ hours on the ps4.. Definitely a huge improvement with performance and especially with mods..

But not with graphical enhancing mods. I have the Rx 480 8GB version, Ryzen 5 1600X, 16Gb 3200Mhz RAM.
I have 286 mods activated, with some graphical mods, no complete ENB's though, with 1080p and I sit a constant 60fps.
I love my game. Sure, graphical enhancements, especially ENB's, are incredible, but on AMD I just wouldn't push it.
ENB's, especially ENB series kills AMD. It has been like that in Skyrim, Skryim ES and FNV.

Thanks for the info buddy.. I'll try it out at 1080p for sure.. Heck I'll hook my pc up to a 4K tv and see what happens xD

Btw. Do you play it on 1080p ultra? for me it's more like high to ultra (not everything is set to max) sorry for my bad explanation at stuff haha

But I can run games like Forza Horizon 3 at 60fps tho so I'm curious how Fallout 4 would run.. Well obviously not 4k60 xD

there seems to be glitch sections all over the place. And different of different pc's. Never had prob in Sancrtuary. I had it when walking from CIT to Greenetech, now its fine - weird. It take a while but you can get through these fps blotches. dont try and change direction but keepo moving forward and it will then begin to accelerate. Its a damn nuisance yes, and very frustrating.

Yeah I just looked up and started walking towards red rocket and it dropped to 2 fps when I reached the bridge..
