Can't delete Fallout4.exe
I'm trying to do a fresh install and I went to delete everything in my fallout 4 root folder and reinstall through steam. So I go into it and i try to delete it along with f4se_loader.exe and it says "You'll need to provide administrator permission to delete this file" and I click Continue and then it says "You require permission from the computer's administrator to make changes to this file" even though my account is an administrator. When I go into Properties>Security>Advanced, it says "You must have Read permissions to view the properties of this object." then I click Continue and it says "You do not have permission to view or edit this object's permission settings." It says the same thing for f4se_loader.exe. What the ♥♥♥♥ is wrong with these files

It is also preventing steam from installing fallout 4 because it says "Missing file privileges" in the downloads section

This sounds like you need to move steam and the game outside of the program files directory.

You may have security software that needs to have execptions made for fallout 4 or steam.

Some of the updates to older software or newer security software lock program files, documents etc. in order to protect from malware or certain viruses making changes to the files in those folders thus they require exemptions be added to the security software for the programs even if you using an administrator level account before they allow us to change files in these folders.

Some files might still be running. Restart your PC - on win10, make sure to do a Restart, not Shut Down, unless you have changed the bootup settings. (By default, Shut Down doesn't clear everything out).

I recommend this before any uninstalling, as otherwise files tend to get left behind.
