Looking for fun build
I have played the game for some time but now im looking for a fun build to play on very hard difficulty.
I am just looking for some ideas for a viable yet fun maybe unique build.
I have always enjoyed melee over guns but im open to any suggestions.

thank you ;)

try the weeder: a sniper sneak who plans to correct the world by eliminating the weak and worthless. You will need to nonessential tag the bulk of the game since a lot of named characters would be worthless to this player. I also add the cannibal perk to this person. Or be a chinese spy who plans on taking over the ruins.

Power Armor / Melee / Commando. Using PA and Pain Train you run into and stun your enemies then beat them to death. I usually start out with General Chao's Revenge then later use the 2076 World Series Bat. When it procs it will send the enemies flying. I'm still trying to knock the Deathclaw off the downtown roof. But I've sent a ton of raiders flying off buildings.

Since you're putting so many points into STR going with Commando and using Spray n Pray for mob control make sense. Cammando is a AGI 2 perk and it makes Spray n Pray a force to be reckoned with.

I can give you the starting SPECIAL I used. I'll just have to look it up.

I do remember I went STR 10, INT 8 and went for the bobblehead at the library early for Nuclear Phyisist. AGI 2, CHA 3 for Lone Wanderer (I don't use companions) and LUK 1 so that leaves PER 4. Hey I didn't need to look it up after all.

Only Automatics, No Semi-auto. Full burst Auto. Visit Nuka World as soon as possible, talk to the Pack leader. Use that rifle as a sniper alternative, You can make an exception for shotguns and launchers in your inventory. But If you use mostly Autos, you'll find yourself run and gunning so often, You'll feel like a badass :VSnake:

Edit: I really want to point out that this play style is crazy fun on 3rd Person only. With the Weapons of Fate Ballistics Overhaul mod, watching your bullet tracers and seeing them Impact, feels way better than any other 3rd person shooter. Better than my All time favorite Saints Row 4 gameplay [:

Spray N pray, put points into Demolition expert then commando. I'm currently lvl 30 and have been melting through enemies ever since I got it.

That sounds it makes when your enemies explode into bits.. so satisfying..

Oh god, what have I become:twbuh:

casual in another thread reminded me of one of my old fallout 3 builds: the pyromaniac. I used the flaming sword (i can't remember what it is called) and the flamer. It was a fun build starting everyone on fire.

Add Jet to the mix and you're at risk of having a real good time...

I remembered it. But I had to look up it's name. The Shishkebab. It was one of the weapons you could purchase a schematic to build.

That was a lot of fun. I've forgotten about schematics. I remember sweating whenever I couldn't buy one because the traders had a habit of getting killed. And the schematics were unique items.

yeah, that's it. It is harder to find in Fallout 4. I found one with one of my characteres, but can't remember where. As you know, you could build it in Fallout 3.

You can get one from Finch Farm, have to do a quest for it

yeah. You could find them in world, but buying was way easier. I would always buy the dartgun scheme at Tenpenny since it was the only viable way of dealing with deathclaws. And i use to buy nukagrenade too. Or i got it from that hot wacky nuka chick with the boyfriend that always wanted to do a threesome. One of the perks i always took in fallout 3 was blackwidow. With that perk you could ask him to go and get the stuff for you by promising a threesome.

thanks. i knew i got one somewhere. That was a long tough quest. So the fallout 4 build would requre more work than it did in Fallout 3.

You're making me want to load up and play that game again.
