Windows XP Isn't generally 64 bit, grab a new operating system or keep Windows 7.
And even the 64 bit versions of XP don't have real support for said applications.
You can try the "64" bit version anyway, Fallout 4 will NOT run on a 32 bit system, and even if it somehow decides it's running the performance isn't worth it.
And how, and if, you got it working is beyond me, but teach me if you do because xp is the bottom of the barrel.
At least 7 is up to date on support.
There is NO REASON TO GO BACK XP to WIN 7 or better.
MINIMUM:
OS: Windows 7/8/10 (64-bit OS required)
Processor: Intel Core i5-2300 2.8 GHz/AMD Phenom II X4 945 3.0 GHz or equivalent
Memory: 8 GB RAM
Graphics: NVIDIA GTX 550 Ti 2GB/AMD Radeon HD 7870 2GB or equivalent
Storage: 30 GB available space
Turns out that there are version of DirectX 11 for Windows XP floating around on the Internet, which are in fact malware-infected versions, which will only install DirectX 9.
Masochism is a way of life for some.
Yes It does, just not out of the box:

You'd be surprised then.
Especially since I had the 32 bit version and never used the 64 bit one.
