bloodtide glitch

i dont know if this has been discssed before, but i have an issue starting the quest bloodtide from far harbor .
Cssie dalton the quest giver just keeps repeating her intro dialogue but wont give me the quest, at first i though that it was because of my mods so i disabled them all and tried again still nothing.

does anyone know how to fix this?

Have you done any other quests there such as helping the Mariner and Capt. Avery. It may take doing those first before Bloodtide triggers. I'm not sure as I always help the Mariner and Avery first and have never had a problem.

I wouldnt recommend doing that until ALL other options have been tried. You can mess up a lot of scripts in Far Harbour by forcing quests before their time.

Do a couple of the other quests first and then talk to the doctor. Fun times .....aarrrrrr. lol.

well i helped avery and the mariner and now i have teddy hounding me to start the quest to kill the mirelurk queen and cassie dalton is still not initiating the quest, any ideas i havent go to acadia yet if that helps

Nope, sorry. I have no more suggestions other than it could still be a mod issue even though you disabled them. The quest id stages are on this page. https://fallout.fandom.com/wiki/Blood_Tide

thanks i know using console commands i not ideal , but i have no other choice at this point

It may take doing that quest involving the mirlurk queen before you can get the other not 100% certain but it may be worth a try before risking console commands.

Remember that the SQS (ShowQuestStages) command is your friend for checking what stages have already been completed for a quest.

As a command that only returns information without making any changes, it's also safe to use even when you don't want to force quest stages to complete.

so ifinished the mission to kill the mirelurk queen and still wasnt able to start the quest
, so i triend something different i had an old save from another character that was about to kill the fogcrawler to continue the quest so i did went back to cassie and she gave me the dialogue as if completed the objective but couldnt advance the quest.

At the end i went ♥♥♥♥ it and forced it trough the console on my newest character i truly have no idea whats going on, mods have being deactivated and still doesnt want to work i just might need to install the whole game if something got corrupted.

did you go to the top of the island and settle to area and or Dalton farm? if so that will cause a glitch in the quest line time to re-track your saves or restart dlc
