use manual download, dont use vortex download
You should pay bro. It's cheap and it's worth it.
The cap is 1MB/s for standard user using AdBlockers, 2MB/s for Supporters, Mod Authors and people that are not using AdBlockers, unlimited for Premium.

If the download speed is that low, then I don't think this is about the cap itself. Sounds like a rush our amonve 1MB/s users, or something limiting your download speed in between Nexus and Vortex.

I second this recommendation. Manager downloads have always felt slow to me.

I have life time Premium, but I am still downloading files manually. Not because of speed, but because I do not like how mod managers create messy download folders, where nothing is in order, or properly archived. Mod archive names do not always make sense. Especially names for patch files are usually weird and out of context.

Downloading files manually allows user to sort them by version, patch version (etc.), so I can actually find what proper files, when sorting out mods for a new profile. It is easy to pick them from hard drive with either Vortex or Mod Organizer 2. Current Nexus API and at least MO2 file in IDs on fly. I haven't tested Vortex lately, but I presume that Vortex is taking all out of Nexus API changes as well.

I'm combining it with IDM, easy download and installation, just drag and drop the file from IDM window directly to vortex instead browsing from downloaded file location
Manual downloads is still just as bad

Are you in Discord? Pickysaurus, or some other staff memeber, can likely help you to check out possible issues, if you ask this about at Nexus Discord server #site-help-feedback channel.

They can probably help you through forums as well, but it usually takes less time to get reply, when people ask about these things in their Discord server, where there are not 10000 notifications all the time.

Though, I believe it is just a matter of server in between. Have you tried switching to another download server?

PRN____ lives in new Zealand, for downloading abroad he needs to go through the same main server hub. No way around.

Make sure that the server is Los Angeles and not Singapore. Singapore may be physically closer but the most direct connection is to Los Angeles. The Southern Cross Cable goes from NZ to Hawaii then directly to LA

I think it would also be better, if they would download at night. I have also a main server hub in my country, download speeds are faster at night.
