If you're looking for an Early Game Fatman, the Robotics Disposal Grounds near USAF has one, and atleast one Mini Nuke, a second Mini Nuke can be found in USAF Olivia.

Of course, with that said, if playing Survival, that will eat up atleast half your initial carrying capacity, so not such a great idea. In my recent playthrough I took the Concord deathclaw down with the two Mini Nukes.

Head down to Sunshine Tidings Co-op for the Wasteland Survival Guide that gets you two meat instead of one, and will allow Mirelurk Hatchlings to actually start dropping food.

Concord has a .308 pipe-bolt sniper rifle that can be converted into a pistol for those going Gunslinger instead of Rifleman, but still maintain the sniper capabilities, which is by far going to be your best early-game sniper.

Want to show up to Concord with several Fusion Cores, rather than just using the half depleted one from the Museum? One in the Molerat Den, two at the Robotics Disposal Grounds, one in USAF Olivia, and one in the Concord Civic Access.

You can beat that deathclaw with a simple ''glitch'' also. Simply enter the two floored building that looks like a western bar in the main street just a little bit before the museum and shoot the deathclaw from inside, it can't enter inside but it will still try to.

Two good early game weapons for sniper builds.

You can purchase a silenced pipe rifle from Drumlin Diner. This will get you a silenced weapon long before you can make one.

There is also a laser sniper rifle (with scope) located at the raider camp just east of Tenpines. It's on the overpass (look for the windmill). The rifle is next to the bed in the shack with the skull on the second level. 2 turrets and 3-4 raiders is all you need to fight.

You can score some Hardened Sniper Rifles from the overpass garrisoned by Gunners out by Walden Pond, along with laser pistols. Come in Power Armor and be ready to sprint away from Grenades.

Hardened Sniper Rifles will kill you in one to four shots depending on END and level. With a one-shot kill almost certain outside of Power Armor.

Yup. Just south of Concord and west of Starlight Drive Inn.
