Stop auto-drawing weapons?
For some reason now my character is automatically drawing weapons all the time. I don't recall this happening before and I've been playing quite a bit lately.

I'll holster them but after walking around for a few seconds my character will draw the weapon out again. Every time I go into a new room or exit build mode in settlements my character draws the weapon again. Sometimes even auto-aiming (like if you press the left shoulder buttons), this happens mostly with NPC's like Elder Maxon.

It's really annoying because I'm using an energy weapon that takes up half the screen. I don't want it out unless I'm shooting something. I spend a lot of time scavenging, wandering around, and honestly running away from battles because I get tired of them.

I don't have any mods installed and I'm playing on a brand new MSI laptop with a GTX 980, drivers are updated, and I'm playing with a new controller.

How do I get this to stop, any ideas?

Some misinterpreted response from the controller, maybe, if it's new?

If your weapon is only partly loaded, does it ever automatically reload while it's out (which could indicate that it's getting inputs for the Ready/Reload action)? Likewise, if you hold a melee weapon, does it occasionally try to block (Aim/Block action, or did you mean entering VATS?)?

There's something up with the controller. I kept playing and noticed it was really difficult to place walls in build mode and when I went to level up the screen was going all wonky.

It was acting like I was constantly manually aiming / drawing my weapon which I wasn't. Something sticky on the shoulder buttons or something.

Tried another controller and it stopped. Thanks!
