press the key to sprint and it will update your speed
thank you
but
I just want to change sprint speed
Others retain the original speed
Is there a way?
What be th' matter postin' here when a certain game be missin' from ye library
You can of course also edit the animation speed multiplier via console, for example "player.modav 2d2 10" or whatnot, but this increases the speed of all your animations, including reloading, how fast your melee weapon swings, how quickly your ranged weapon cycles, it presumably also increases how fast your mouth moves whilst talking. So it makes more sense to make an ability that increases it specifically whilst sprinting, that way it increases how fast you sprint without interfering with anything else.
I care and I did find this thread with a search engine, lol. I know I'm necroing this thread, but F4 is an all-time favorite for me.
I doubt anyone would want to increase all animation speeds, so thank you. The value for this sprint speed animation- is it a percentage? Eg: 1 is 100% and 2 is 200%? Or is a a flat rate like 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, etc? Also, when you say ability, does it act like a perk?
EDIT: I'm kind of lost on how to create that ability that modifies the address and then implement it into my game. Seems easier with FO4Edit. It's a lot to go through for (what should have been) a simple change, sorry. I still appreciate any help provided!
I found the correct command. I used it in the past for Skyrim, tried it for Fallout 4, and it worked. It may even work for Fo3, NV, maybe Oblivion.
player.setgs fmovesprintmult 100
100 is default, 100% sprint speed. If you want 20% more speed, make it 120, and so on.
And @Yhwach, Sometimes Console players post questions on Steam forums for games that are also popular on PC, as they're more likely to be seen than on PS/XB or even reddit. Thats what I'd do. Not seeing a game in someones library doesn't automatically make them a "yarr matey" enjoyer.
