Institute - So Boring

I am on level 52 and director of the Institute. Its so damn BORING. I think I will start again and destroy the institute, who is best - minutemen? I still want to destroy the BoS and maybe Railroad though.

That's the price you pay for a Technocratic Utopia. Everything's so damn easy because machines do everything for you.

If you want to destroy BoS and Railroad, you have no choice but to go Institute because they're the ones directly aligned against them. Minuteman are tree-hugging hippies that want world peace so don't expect garbage-musket-wielding trenchcoat-flipping Minutemen to go against god-tier-gatling-laser-wielding power-armor-flexing BoS...

Unless you end up turning hostile to the Brotherhood after completing the main quest, at which point the Minutemen will quite happily take them down.

I'd say the Brotherhood is also the most fun to fight against, and the Institute mission to destroy the Prydwen is one of the biggest battles in the game.

I definitely recommend playing at least three more characters, one supporting the BoS, one supporting the RR, and one concentrating on being the Minutemen General. Their different story lines are interesting. You can ignore the MM when siding with the BoS or RR, if you want.

The Battle of Bunker Hill is fun to see from the three different faction sides.

All of the factions are basically the same. BOS is about the only difference because of one single mission that's unlike any of the other factions (without spoinling it of course, but it's probably going to get spoiled) but realistically if an institute playthrough bored you any other playthrough is going to bore you.

you certainly got that right, never have I had such a hard battle in any sim/game.

I think the BOS questline and ending are the most fun, Railroad is the most boring. Play up until you have the choice to decide, make a perm ENDING save, then explore all options.
