Marine combat armor Bug
Ok my Marine armor doesn't change skins when i switch to the assault modification. It has with every modification the children of atom skin.

I run the game with mods, but none of them should have an effect on the marine armor, because they just add new items, weapons and armor.

What mod would be doing this I have the same issue, I change it to "Assualt" but remains "Zealot" or "Inquisitor". I have AWKCR and Armorsmith if that helps. Also when modifying only get two options in workbench, style (Zealot, Assault, Inquisitor) and modifications (Custom Fitting, Lead lined, Sleek, etc.).

Well it is not a bug. I just went at that moment into full brain dead mode. One mod (I don't know which one) gives me an option, that changes the skin. For example I can craft the zealot modification and change the skin so that it looks like I have the assault modification. This specific option that changes the skin is in my game at the bottom of the armor crafting menu.

Ya i found out why, it was the latest of Armorsmith so I downgraded to an older one and it works again.

i still dont know what the issue is. could ya'll elaborate more on how ya'll fixed it? I know it has to do with AWKCR, after uninstalling and reinstalling mods AWKCR is the one thats messing with it. i dont have armorsmith extension, so idk what else there is to fix the issue. and so many mods depend on AWKCR for me to completely have it uninstalled.

So what i found out was, that AWKCR was creating a new category for the skin of the armor. Haven't played F4 in a while, so my knowledge about it could be outdated. But my solution was, that it wasn't a bug, because AWKCR gives you an option on the armor workbench to change the skin of the armor. I hope this info helps. Also my english is a little bit rusty.

I also have AWKCR, but I don't get the option to change the looks with 1 steel and 1 wood, like I can on combat armour / leather armour.. they all have the atom look to them :/

If i remember it correctly, i had an option in the armor workbench, which let me decide how the armor looks. for example i can have a light raider chest armor and make it look like it's a heavy raider chest armor. Not so sure anymore haven't played Fallout 4 in a long time.
