Red Rocket doors?

I've tried everything in the crafting menu to add doors to The Red Rocket by Santuary.

Is there a way to install them or is the a mod that has doors that will work? Maybe with locks?

That particular Red Rocket has its own doors.. Including a powered garage door.

They can not be locked but the powered door is controlled via a button inside.

Red Rocket already has functional outer doors. None of the doors in standard crafting menu works with interior doors.

There are few ways to place them though.

- You could use a trick to place door outside, over a mat. Then hold E to select both mat and the door, move the door in place inside and remove the mat.

- Use mod called Place Everywhere, which makes this whole thing a lot easier.

- Download and install a mod, which has sliding doors, which will slot in place with Red Rocket interior doorframes. There are few.

- Download and install a mod which allows you to use slim custom door frames, which do not require snapping in place.

i just fast travelled to red rocket in my vanilla save game. the garage door uses the button so hostiles can't open it except from inside, all the other doors but the office already have sliding doors so won't accept the door snap, and the office doorway snaps every door on the vanilla crafting menu no problem. hope this helps.

There should already be doors on the red rocket?

I know the USO (unlock settlement objects) mod has some red rocket doors in the doors section.

It may be hard to place them, but I think you can use the pillar or rug glitch or place anywhere or console commands.

As for locking? I don't know about a mod that will let you lock things but I know you can lock stuff with console command. Select the item, & type "Lock 1" The higher the number, the harder it is to lock from I think 1 to 100. To unlock it, just type "Lock 0". I know "Lock -1" & -2 & I think -3 do some other stuff to, making it inaccessible or setting it so it's "barred" or "chained".

Restarting every time my character dies i have alot of experience rebuilding Red Rocket. Here is a good way.

Just three across starting at the very back and until it hits the floor near the front. A bit tricky lining it up properly but simple after that.
