Load Order/ini layout for assistance in the Coffee House
Using this load order in Vortex gets 45-55fps steady. Using this load order with MO2, gets me 29-39fps. This has been pestering me for months. ini files to follow in the comments.

Ok but how did your custom.ini end up as a duplicate of the fo4.ini ?

Frankly Angyl I would copy them all to a folder, delete them all, and let the game re-geneerate default ini files.

Also I'm not seeing the DLCs listed in the SResourceArchiveList (s) It's been a while for me but that seems like a goof up

I agree with Avrie about wiping them out. And subbed.

Might also be a good idea to get some monitoring going while you play and get dips, It could at least rule some things out.

These are very lightweight and wont give you coodies like that nasty riva tuner software.

On gpuz there is an active sensor page, One lines is called perfcap, Or performance cap, See what that does while you are playing and getting drops. Cpu and gpu utilization would be helpful as well.

I those 3 things are fine its probably safe to say its something wrong with the game / settings.

You can also try:

Disable all 46 CC mods. Disable the 4 Old World mods. And remove Better Setters as you can just create a bat file for it.

For example:
setav strength 10
setav health 1000

You could delete the sub folders in Data. Meshes, textures, etc. Then verify the cache to get new ones. Don't delete the Data folder as you'll have to reinstall mods.

I think a lot of the issue is that MO2 is still a wip especially when it comes to Ba2 parsing which was introduced in the 2.2.0 chain. But I'm not sure what that has to do with FPS drop ... that always felt more like a video driver issue. I've had it happen in Oldrim, SSE, and FO4 but it seems to change with updates to video drivers ... always drove me nuts.

I've never understood why I could be inside breeze home, and have a + or - 20 FPS swing depending on which direction I was looking ... it's an interior cell with limited clutter ??? but it happens and is repeatable.

If there is a major difference between MO2 and Vortex with the same hardware, and the same mod list I'm pretty sure Al and Lost dragonist are going to want to know. Document everything you can, and lets get them involved.

Sorry but half those mods you have, specially from CC leave me at lost to explain I just don't use them.
Lost of FPS is mods that use a lot of resources also can be linked to GPU usage, overload the game or card something has to give way.

Work in process since last update so may not be totally correct but I try to use essential mods only, there are still a few I need, I only have 150 plugins max limit found that enough to have a smooth game.(PS for SSE as well)

Getting rid of mods would have nothing to do with the problem here. If the load order is the same, and your using the same ini files in both Vortex and MO2 you should not be able to see any difference in FPS.

Thats the theory anyway.

I seriously smell an ini issue ... I'd copy the INI files from Documents/games/FO4 to the current profile in MO2. If they're the same LO on the same hardware the only difference I can concieve of would be the INIs

@Avrie not something anyone reported or makes any sense either. There is a difference in the setup somewhere because usvfs has no impact on frame rate.

I'll try an ini reset, then we'll go from there. I have a question... how do I get the launcher graphics settings, which edit the original ini location, to edit MO's ini location instead? Do I need to refresh the inis, use the launcher, then copy that ini to MO2's ini section?
