Power Armor Flashlight Glitch

somewhat recently my flashlights for my power armor is not showing what its modded to be. as you can see in the video, i have it set to red tactical and its not red at all, and when i enter third person view, it shines to the right side. i really don't use power armor early on in the game. generally i don't start using it until i can fully upgrade them. anyone know of a mod that can fix it, or maybe a console command to fix it? any help would be appreciated. and its not just a particular power armor set, its all of them. the DEF_UI mod is maybe the only one that does it? i just know it messed a lot of things up in my game, like CTD when received Mechanists armor pieces, or made everyone in the institute wear the same outfit. but i haven't used it since, and i really can't pinpoint when it started happening.

p.s. when i enter the armor, the flashlight is automatically on, which i assume would be the correct color?

update:
they're all messed up. purple doesn't light, its just a flame on the helmet, blue is normal, bright is purple, vault boy does the same as red tactical
