is there a mod that allows you to hold weapons lower in first person ?
because it seems most weapons modded in, your guy holds them above their head really high up and it just obstructs view when playing.

There are several holster mods in Nexus just search for 'visible weapons' or 'weapon holster' and you will see a ton of mods. Just remember to read the instruction before anything.

no not the mod where you lower the weapons in a passive state, but when youre firing it its too high up on the right side of the screen...

Oh I see what you mean. Sort of like this mod from Skyrim

https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/17403

There used to be a few for individual weapons but the author removed the ones I tracked. Not sure if there's one for all of them. I'd hit up nexusmods forum in mod request to see if there is.

well they move up due to the recoil of the weapon, a muzzlebreak can help with that

also aim down the weaponsights, it also helps with both recoil and visual obstruction

and with hitting what youre aiming at in the first place :emofdr:

Wouldn't simply raising the first person FOV make the weapons take up less screen space?

Dunno man, I've never found the gun position to be that annoying. It's a more casual first person game, not a competitive shooter that needs as much visibility as possible.

I've been all over the nexus mod pages looking for mods and I've never seen one that changed the first person weapon position other than in a relaxed state.

You could always try third person.
